Hotel housekeeping jobs may not sound glamorous but they offer a good pay with minimal qualifications. Additionally, the hotel industry is still booming even with the economic downturn hence the many housekeeping job vacancies available. A broad hotel housekeeping job description would be performing basic household tasks which involve cleaning and tidying. A hotel can be compared to a huge household where lot of guests keep visiting daily and stay for a number of days. This produces a lot of housekeeping tasks that need to be taken care of. Each room in the hotel has to be kept clean and tidy, before the guests arrive, during their stay and after they have gone.
